Terms of Service
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Edessa is operated by ElevaiteWorks LLC ("Edessa," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Edessa is a tool that turns recordings of your processes into documented workflows your team and your AI can follow. We give you an account, storage, AI processing, and a place to organize workflows. We may change or improve the service at any time.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older to use Edessa.
- You're responsible for keeping your login secure.
- You're responsible for what your team members do under your organization.
- You may not impersonate someone else or share login credentials.
Your content
You own your workflows, recordings, and uploaded resources. By storing them on Edessa you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display them so the product can work. We don't use your content to train AI models.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload content that's illegal or violates someone else's rights.
- Don't use Edessa to harass, dox, defame, or threaten people.
- Don't try to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't use Edessa to send spam or run unauthorized commercial activity.
Billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- A 14-day free trial precedes your first charge. You can cancel anytime before day 15 and you won't be charged.
- After the trial, your subscription auto-renews each month at the plan's price (or your locked founding rate, if applicable).
- You can change plans, update your payment method, or cancel from Settings → Billing.
- We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months. If something serious goes wrong, email us and we'll figure it out together.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. After you cancel, your account stays active until the end of the paid period. At that point your workspace is suspended (read-only) for 30 days and then deleted unless you ask us to restore it.
AI outputs
Edessa uses AI providers (currently Anthropic and Google) to generate workflow text and audits. AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. You're responsible for reviewing what the AI produces before relying on it in your business.
Service availability
We try to keep Edessa up and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take it down for maintenance, fixes, or to protect the platform.
Termination
We can suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms. We'll usually warn you first and give you a chance to fix things. For serious violations (illegal content, attacks on the platform) we'll act immediately.
Disclaimers
Edessa is provided "as is." We make no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement, to the extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Edessa is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, business interruption).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
