An AI SOP generator turns a recording of you doing a task into a written standard operating procedure. You record your screen and your voice one time, and Edessa writes the numbered steps, pulls in the real button names and screenshots from what was on screen, and flags whatever you skipped over.
That is the whole idea. Documentation does not get written because writing it is a separate job from doing the work. Recording is not.
How does it work?
- Hit record and do the task. Start a recording and do the job the way you normally would, talking through it as you go. Edessa captures your screen and your voice together. You do not need a script.
- Let it write the draft. When you stop, the recording is written up as a numbered workflow. The steps use the button names and field values that were actually on your screen, not generic placeholders, and each one gets a screenshot.
- Fix the two things it got wrong. Read the draft and edit anything off. Edessa also flags the steps you skipped over in the narration, so you are correcting a draft instead of starting from a blank page.
