Overview

This workflow creates a complete weekly content plan for Elevaite's short-form AI videos using the content-decision-engine skill in Claude. The session runs a 70/20/10 allocation analysis to balance proven patterns with experimental content, ensuring optimal pillar distribution and hook quality across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Steps

Pull last week's performance data from Notion Content Pipeline - filter by Published in last 7 days and note 7-day view counts for each video
Check TikTok directly for any view counts not logged in Notion yet
Write down your top performer and anything that surprised you from the data
Filter Content Pipeline by Status: Idea and mentally note the 6-8 strongest ideas
Run 2-minute news scan checking AI announcements from X (AI companies), The Rundown AI newsletter, and Anthropic/OpenAI/Google blogs
Note 1-3 news items worth covering as NEWS pillar candidates
Identify 2-3 LinkedIn post ideas from actual client calls, bootcamp sessions, founder observations, or contrarian takes on AI news
Verify LinkedIn post ideas pass Gate 3: "Does at least one line make the reader feel singularly seen?" using Audience Voice Bank language
Copy the planning prompt template into Claude and fill in all [BRACKETED SECTIONS] with your actual performance data, news items, and idea backlog
Run the content-decision-engine skill in Claude to generate the weekly slate with 70/20/10 allocation
Review Claude output for hook naturalness, consulting lead potential (FLOW/EDU pillar), and newsletter recommendation alignment
Request any hook reworks from Claude if they feel too formal or need to be punchier (under 8 words)
Ask Claude to replace any concepts and re-run allocation if swaps are needed
Copy the full planning session output and save as 03-content/weekly-plans/YYYY-WXX-content-plan.md using ISO week number
Move selected ideas in Notion from Status: Idea → Status: Validated
Add hook text and hook pattern # to each validated entry in Content Pipeline
Set Priority for each validated idea (High = must publish this week, Medium = can slip to next)

Quality Check

Weekly slate contains 4-5 video concepts with full hook text, pattern #, pillar code, tier, and publish sequence
Pillar balance shows no single pillar >50% distribution
Hook quality scores rate 3+ on Specificity, Curiosity Gap, Broad Appeal, and Urgency
At least one video targets consulting pipeline (FLOW or EDU pillar)
Newsletter recommendation aligns with likely top performer
All validated ideas updated in Notion Content Pipeline with hook text and priority

Common Issues

Not enough ideas for backlog: Run meeting extraction SOP on Fireflies meetings from last 2 weeks, check Audience Voice Bank for unaddressed pain points, or scan current AI news
Mid-series planning: Proven allocation locks to series, fill remaining slots from backlog, don't break series unless major news
Hooks don't sound natural: Paste 3 best-performing hooks and ask Claude to match your voice, edit any off hooks before filming
Light week (time constraints): Run 2-3 video slate: 1 Proven + 1 NEWS + 1 FLOW/EDU, skip Wildcard entirely
ISO week number confusion: Ask Claude "What's the ISO week number for [date]?" or use Feb 23-Mar 1, 2026 = W09 reference
