Overview

This process transforms completed Google Meet transcripts into structured Notion Meeting Hub entries with AI-powered classification, summaries, action items, and content extraction. Currently operates as a manual trigger system with Claude Code, with full automation planned via n8n.

Before You Start

Confirm Google Meet Gemini transcription is enabled (Settings → Transcription → Auto-transcribe)
Verify transcripts auto-save to "Meet Recordings" folder in Google Drive
Ensure Notion MCP is connected in Claude Code
Ensure Google Drive MCP is connected in Claude Code
Wait ~15 minutes after meeting ends for transcript to appear in Google Drive

Steps

Wait for the Google Meet Gemini transcript to appear in Google Drive → Meet Recordings → [Meeting Title] [Date]
Open Claude Code and paste the processing prompt, replacing [MEETING NAME OR DATE] with actual meeting info
Run the prompt: "Process the meeting transcript for [MEETING NAME OR DATE] from Google Drive. Read the transcript from Google Drive (check the "Meet Recordings" folder). Then create a structured entry in the Notion Meeting Hub (data source: collection://ff875f2b-b170-4426-b724-d5a6a14d8fd9)"
Let Claude extract and structure all meeting data including: Meeting Title, Date, Meeting Type, Participants, Primary Contact, Summary, Key Decisions, Action Items, Topics, Follow-up Required, Meeting Outcome, Revenue Impact, Duration, Audience Voice Quotes, Content Seeds, and Recording URL
Review the generated Notion Meeting Hub entry and correct any fields Claude classified incorrectly
For client calls, verify speaker attribution is correct (consultant asks questions, client shares problems) and Audience Voice Quotes are from the client only

Quality Check

Meeting Type matches the quick reference guide (Discovery Call, Client Session, Internal Sync, etc.)
Audience Voice Quotes contain only client/prospect language, not consultant responses
Content Seeds identify specific problems, questions, or "aha moments" that could become content
Duration calculation is accurate (rounded to nearest 5 minutes)
Primary Contact field shows external person's name only, blank for internal meetings
All required Notion fields are populated

Common Issues

Google Drive transcript not appearing: Check Gemini transcription was running during meeting (look for "Transcript" indicator in Meet), or verify Google Workspace admin has enabled transcription
Claude can't find transcript: Provide direct Google Drive file URL instead of asking Claude to search, or paste transcript text directly
Wrong meeting classification: Edit directly in Notion - all fields are editable, classification improves over time with pattern recognition
Speaker attribution unclear: Tell Claude "Thaddeus is the consultant; [Client Name] is the prospect/client" for better context
